CrimsonEXE is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Programming

How skilled in programming (particularly in C++) is good for starting at the guildhall?

I'm a senior in a high school program that is within Richland College where I'll have an associate's by the end of next spring.
I've only been able to take one programming course and wondering how much is recommended to know to start in the software development.

Default Re: Programming

You'll want to be pretty solid in the basics of C++ and at least knowledgable of the STL. It also helps to have some foundation of data structures and algorithm development and implementation.

A good test is, can you do the portfolio programs assigned by the guildhall and how long did it take you? They shouldn't take longer than a week of work.
